Animated Series Audition - details!!

Hey guyzzzz. I hope you're doing fantastic! I'm excited to share this audition with you & can't wait to listen to your submissions if you choose to audition!

I'm wrangling the English dubbing cast for an exciting (and groundbreaking.) series from one of my favorite animation studios with whom I've worked on various projects for nearly a decade & this is the most exciting one yet! We've been working on casting this series since July & I'm stoked to be able to cast my net wider!

Ajwan is the first-ever sci-fi animated series from the MENA region! Adapted from the famous Emirati novels of the same name, Ajwan is an action drama that will run the course of 8 seasons. We follow the story of a refugee girl who has lost loved ones and her planet in a catastrophic event. She now endures a perilous journey in deep space, coming to terms with her new reality. Ajwan will be a series about the strength of women, inspiring all of us to never give up.

This first wave of auditions is for episodes 6-8. The additional episodes will be cast sometime next week & we plan to begin recording the first week of November. Please note this is a non-union project & you must have a quality home studio from which you're able to connect & record. Also, we will be dubbing over the original Arabic cast & sessions will be live-directed as you'll be reading to picture to sync up with the animation.

Please read for as many characters as you feel that you're a good fit for! Label your auditions YourName_CharacterName.mp3 & upload them to this dropbox folder by 9am EST on Friday, 10/21!
